So, do we continue with Michel Vorm in between the sticks in the FA Cup, or perhaps swap to the team’s regular Premier League shot-stopper, Hugo Lloris?
Personally I think there may be a conundrum for Poch – Vorm is our Cup goalkeeper but perhaps Lloris would be a better fit for the semi, and perhaps final?
On one side of the argument…keeping Vorm would only be fair but Lloris is our number one keeper and so would Poch, or even you trust Michel when the chips are down and we’re on the verge of being eliminated? Is he good enough to make ‘that’ vital save?
On the flipside – Lloris has not won many honours and to give him a potential FA Cup final berth, or perhaps a winner’s medal, then surely it’s what he deserves. Surely?
We are coming to a decisive time in our season and as many have said, this team needs to win something to become great?
