“Transfers Are Like Buses” – These Spurs Fans Sees Double Capture As More Than Simply Signings

|

With confirmation this week of the signing of new record Tottenham Hotspur capture Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon, allied to the Jack Clarke capture, it was certainly a sight for sore eyes at the club given we have gone two transfer windows without strengthening the group.

Spurs Find Their Gear With Fantastic Double Capture – Where’s Your Aulas Gone

Both players serve different purposes to us, with 18-year-old Clarke definitely being one for the future given his loan back to Leeds United for the 2019/20 campaign, but Ndombele is definitely a statement at his reported 60million Euro cost.

With manager Mauricio Pochettino finally seeming to have signed his Moussa Dembele replacement, given his own words after the Champions League Final and his comments about wanting to change Spurs’ plan and no longer overachieve in the way we have for the last few years, many will also take the signing as proof that he has got Daniel Levy’s assurances and backing to lift our ambitions in future years.

Whether we now top our record signing in the weeks to come is open for debate, but it doesn’t feel like they will be the only arrivals and that can only be a good thing surely.
