Tottenham Reportedly Take A Look At Son’s South Korean Team Mate

|

The club had a scout watching French club Dijon’s 5-2 defeat to Lyon on Friday night, according to Mercato365.com.

The French website report that winger Kwon Chang-Hoon is interesting a host of clubs. Freiburg are said to be keenest on the player, but the presence of both Borussia Monchengladbach and Spurs representatives in the stands also suggests they were also scouting the 23-year-old.

To be clear though, that is not the same as saying we are interested in signing the South Korean international. We could have just as easily have been watching Lyon’s Lucas Tousart, who has been linked with a move to us, or even Houssem Aouar or Nabil Fekir.

Kwon played alongside Son at international level in the friendlies against Northern Ireland and Poland last month and generally plays as a right-winger.

During his first full season for Dijon, he has performed well, scoring nine times and contributing three assists in 31 appearances. He is the club’s second top scorer, two behind striker Julio Tavares.
