Tottenham Poised For Battle With Three Clubs For Malian International

|

The club are among four teams keeping a close eye on Lille midfielder Yves Bissouma, according to Sky Sports.

Everton, Schalke and Monaco are also scouting the 21-year-old, who has performed well in a struggling team.

The Malian international has played 28 times in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

It is suggested that Bissouma could be a replacement for Mousa Dembele, although the midfielder can play in a variety of positions, including right back, or on the right-hand side of midfield.

Sky Sources, however, report any move for the player will have to wait until the outcome of talks between Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy. The manager is said to be seeking assurances from the chairman about the club’s transfer budget.

It will be interesting to see how the discussions play out. Hopefully, things go smoothly, and we can begin signing players must earlier in the summer than has been the case in recent years.
