Tottenham On Alert As Serie A Side Prepare To Sell Croatian For £35m

|

Inter Milan will sell Ivan Perisic for the right price, according to Calciomercato.com.

Another Italian news site FCInterNews.it had previously reported we had contacted the Croatian’s agent Fali Ramadani about signing the player, only to be told that the midfielder wasn’t on the market.

However, it seems the situation has changed slightly. Calciomercato say although manager Luciano Spalletti would be reluctant to lose the winger, he understands that the club will have to balance the books.

It is believed that Inter will be willing to sell for between €40m (£35m) and €45m (£39.5m), but they will wait until after the World Cup to offload him in case his value increases due to his performances at the tournament.

Whether we would consider signing a 29-year-old for £35m, it doesn’t seem that likely, but Perisic is certainly a talented player.

Last season in Italy, the wide man scored 11 goals and provided 11 assists in 37 Serie A appearances.
