Tottenham Hotspur’s links to Ozan Kabak have elevated this week, leaving multiple supporters discussing the potential of seeing him in north London next season.

The latest report comes from Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, who claims that Spurs are in talks with Schalke 04 over a transfer.

It has previously been suggested that the 20-year-old has a release clause of €45m (£40.5m) and that he’d be open to a move to the Premier League one day (both from Sport Bild, via Bulinews).

Should Levy splash out on Ozan Kabak this summer?

Yes please!

Yes please!

No thanks!

No thanks!

The Turkish international as averaged 3.6 clearances, 1.4 tackles, 1.4 interceptions per game this season and is also averaging 2.9 aerial duels won per game, per WhoScored.

Kabak also wants to emulate his idol, Premier League champion Virgil van Dijk, one day.

And quite a few members of the Spurs faithful would love to see Daniel Levy splash the cash on him, claiming that he’s a “great player” with potential and that his arrival would sort out the defence for years to come.

Here’s the best of the reaction from social media…
