Tottenham Hotspur moved into the top six to bolster their European hopes with a 3-0 thrashing of Leicester City, although many fans were left frustrated by Serge Aurier.
Spurs talisman Harry Kane bagged a brace after Heung-min Son opened the scoring with all three goals coming before half-time.
The north Londoners will now have an eye on Wolves’ game tomorrow to see if they remain in pole position to clinch a place in the Europa League next term.
It appears many were left frustrated by the performance from Aurier despite the intense circumstances he’s playing under, leading to some supporters calling him a “total liability” and claiming that he “desperately needs to be sold”.
Per SofaScore, the 27-year-old managed three clearances, two tackles and two interceptions but lost possession 12 times and committed four fouls.
The Ivorian, who cost the club £23m in 2017, was also blasted for being “rotten” and appearing to be off playing in Narnia.
Here’s the rest of the reaction…
We’re lethal on the break. As usual, Davies, Sissoko and Aurier are a mistake waiting to happen
