Spurs Word On The Tweet

“Levy masterclass”, “Need this one done” – Lots of Spurs fans react over transfer report

|

Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting to a fresh transfer claim on social media this week.

According to Foot Mercato, the north Londoners are eyeing a late move for Lille centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes, who has reportedly agreed to terms with Serie A side Napoli.

It’s claimed that the French outfit are stalling on accepting the deal with FIFA likely to move the summer transfer window to a new date, so Daniel Levy has an opportunity to swoop in and land the Brazilian at the eleventh hour if he so wishes.

What position should be priority in the transfer window?

Centre-back

Defensive mid

Backup striker

Left-back

The fee mentioned in the report is just €22m (£20m) along with €2m-per-year wages (£1.8m-per-year).

Much of the Spurs faithful have been drawn into a debate over the potential of signing him as a result of the recent news.

Some believe the club should sign him as he’s a “beast” and is a “solid defender” whilst others think this could actually open the door to sign Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly instead with one fan suggesting it would be a “masterclass” from Levy.
