The club are reportedly one of four teams looking at Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina.
French website Footmercato.net say the Gabonese international is being targeted by us, Arsenal, West Ham and Everton. The former Juve player was signed by the Saints for £15m in August but has been part of a team that only narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League.
Lemina has not always been a regular at the South Coast club this season. Injuries and lack of form have limited him to just 20 starts in the league.
At the beginning of May during an interview with a local newspaper the Daily Echo, the midfielder refused to talk about his long-term future, preferring to focus on the club’s relegation battle.
With the season now over, his attention will likely return to where he will be playing next season. Despite being a holding midfield player, his one goal and one assist in 29 appearances doesn’t look that impressive, and it would be surprising if we were in for the 24-year-old.
