Tottenham Hotspur Academy graduate Kazaiah Sterling is another man at the club who many in the fanbase feel has a very bright future ahead of him.
Little has been seen so far of the 20-year-old in the first team but manager Mauricio Pochettino did call him up to our Champions League squad last season for the December based clash against Apoel Nicosia and although it was only a cameo appearance at the end of the game (two minutes plus stoppage time) as he replaced Dele Alli, as well as continuing to develop with our Under 23 group, he’s also taken in proper senior experience given our involvement in the EFL Trophy playing three games, scoring once, against League One or Two opposition.
On Monday, he scored an absolute belter for our U23s in their game against Wolfsburg, and whilst the goal speaks for itself, the reactions to wanting to see him get slightly more involved – and definitely when the FA Cup third round tie against Tranmere or Southport rolls around in January – also tell their own story.
