Having lost our 100% record at the weekend as Tottenham Hotspur travelled to Vicarage Road to take on Watford, a 2-1 defeat following a poor performance has opened up quite a few questions in the fan base.
With Danny Rose getting a first appearance of the season in the victory over Manchester United, he followed that up as a late substitute for Ben Davies in this clash and a number of fans believe that he has to start to Liverpool tie following the international break if we are to increase our chances of taking a positive result.
The reasoning is simple, at least the following fans feel that Rose is a better choice defensively against the pace that Liverpool have up top and they feel that as an attacking outlet, he offers more at the other end of the pitch.
Danny Rose even if 75% fit must start from now on.

Fear Kane is not the same player as before his last injury. Still a great goalscorer but seems yo have lost his pace and no longer runs at people like ie Chelsea home 5-3. Dembele look poor because of selection. Rose is so superior to Davies. #coys #thfc

A half fit Danny Rose is still far better than a fully fit Davies

Rose is far better in my opinion, if Davies gets torn apart by Watford how can he handle playing against Liverpool with wingers like Salah and Mane?

We can't play a 3 against Liverpool. Leaves us too exposed. Play Trips, Toby, Jan and Rose. Our best 4. With Dier in front. Tried and tested. And for the love of god play Kane as the vocal point of our attack. Lets not go all England on him. Massive game in 2 weeks. #THFC

Watford was a poor performance from a lot of players and Davies wasn’t alone in that, and it’s not like he came in for scapegoat level criticism following the game, but after a performance like that its inevitable some changes would be called for.
