With Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino given midfielder Dele Alli the weekend off as we took victory over Huddersfield Town, it’s all eyes to tonight’s second leg Champions League quarter-final at the Etihad Stadium as we look to hopefully complete the job against Manchester City.
Having a narrow advantage from Son Heung-Min’s late goal in the first leg, most fans hope that Alli will again take to the pitch in this one even though he’ll be wearing a protective cast after fracturing his hand in two places.
The manner of the injury not being a clean single break means he will have been assessed late on by Poch and the medical team, but with the club Tweeting out a video of the players departing on Monday, seeing Alli travelling with the group has been welcomed as a boost by plenty of fans.

There appeared to be no sign of Harry Winks or Lucas Moura unless I missed them in a scan, but I’m not aware of Moura picking up an issue, so maybe we can’t read too much into it but if Alli isn’t playing, it’s good to see him travelling to support.
He likes to be involved. Went to Madrid whilst suspended. Top lad
