Some goals stick with supporters for their quality or the timing of the strike, and then there are some that fans remember for just how weird they are.

And for Alan Hutton against Wolves, that was certainly the case as the former Tottenham right-back and Scottish international scored a peculiar goal against the Premier League side back in 2010 when the defender broke through on goal, seemingly assisted himself before an opposing player tackled the ball into now 35-year-old’s feet, lobbing the keeper to seal a 3-1 win for Spurs.
The sheer obscurity of the goal all the way down from the goalscorer to who the events folded out certainly left an impression on Tottenham fans, as nine years later supporters are still talking about how odd the strike was.
Here’s what Spurs supporters had to say on Twitter about Hutton’s goal, with fans still bewildered how odd the strike was in every possible sense…
Hutton, the Scottish Cafu.

Tottenham travel to Wolves this weekend in a big game for Jose Mourinho’s side as a win would see Spurs leapfrog Nuno Espirito Santo’s team in the Premier League table.
