Tottenham fans are desperate for change, and whilst they can only bring in reinforcements and ship out deadwood during the January and summer transfer windows, that doesn’t stop the rumours from swirling during the months outside of these windows.

With that being said, the Lilywhites have been linked with a January move for Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes (O Jogo), just a matter of months after the midfield claimed that his club blocked a summer move to Spurs on the English transfer deadline day (Sky Sports).
Now, though, the report from O Jogo claims that the Lilywhites could be set to benefit from Sporting’s need to bring in some money, as it’s claimed that the club need to bring in 65m euros, and they can’t finance a new contract for Fernandes, meaning Spurs could be in business in January.

I think we are going to get a lot of competition to sign him though. From what I have seen of him he looks like a class act.

The Lilywhites have got a lot of time for these Bruno Fernandes rumours and will be keen to bring in the talented Portuguese midfielder as soon as possible.
