Many of you will have heard of yet another exit of a top premiership manager yesterday. Big Sam at Newcastle was given just 24 games in charge and asked to leave Newcastle United. Big Sam becomes the 8th Premiership manager to lose his job and we have only just started the 2008 part of the season.
As his possible replacement a name has come up in the mix that is held in great regard by Spurs fans – Martin Jol.
Martin Jol did have a good spell with Spurs as we all know giving us back to back seasons in European football and maybe called upon by Newcastle to take the spot of manager.
How will spurs fans feel if he does take that position and finds himself back at the lane playing against a club that he felt just as strong about as did the fans about him only time will tell.
