- This was the first time the home side had failed to win this fixture in the league in the last six meetings, and the first time the visiting side won in 19 matches in this fixture – Arsenal’s 1-0 win at White Hart Lane in March 2014 (which Mikel Arteta played in!).
- That was the last time Spurs had drawn a blank against Arsenal at home prior to today.
- Indeed the last three away victories in all competitions have now all been by Arsenal, with the most recent away win in the fixture ebefore today being Arsenal’s 2-1 win at White Hart Lane in the League Cup third round in September 2015.
