With most eyes on Tottenham Hotspur’s clash with Manchester City later this evening, some fans were keeping a firm eye on Samuel Shashoua who is enjoying a loan spell away from the club this season with Spanish side Atletico Baleares.

The 19-year-old youth product enjoyed a good game by all accounts, albeit his side did fall to a 2-1 defeat to Villarreal’s B team, but for those fans who took to social media to comment on his latest goal for the club, they were full of praise for the way he seems to be continuing to develop.
Few are getting overly carried away as he is taking in games in the Spanish third tier, but he’s certainly making the most of the experience as he now apparently has three goals in eight appearances.

He plays on loan at a spanish club. He’s been playing really well

I hope he can get some game time at spurs next season

So the question bears asking. Have youbseen enough of his play to say he's too good for the Spanish 3rd tier?

Would love to see a piece on 'Shashoua in Spain'. Seems that he's doing really well and speaking the language. So refreshing to see a young player making that sort of move. @Sam_shash #COYS

The England Under 18 international was a regular at that level prior to his move, and he has five goals in 22 Under 23 appearances as well.
