A week prior to when the 2017/18 Premier League season kicks off Tottenham Hotspur test out the Wembley Stadium turf against last season’s Champions League finalists, Juventus.

Premier Sports will beam live pictures into a UK TV screen near you, but only if you take out a subscription – £9.99 a month. The programme begins five minutes before kick-off – 5:25 BST.

If you live outside of the UK, or you’re currently on your summer holiday, soaking up the sun on foreign shores then there are numerous countries showing the game. Tap / click here for a list of streams and TV stations.

Mauricio Pochettino

‘This match will form an important part of our preparations, particularly with the Premier League season starting just a week later.

‘We met Juventus in Australia during pre-season last year and it was a highly competitive game, very useful for us, and we expect a similar game this year at Wembley.’

Head to head

Tottenham and Juventus have met just the once and that was last summer in the International Champions Cup friendly competition when Juve won 2-1 (Paulo Dybala and Medhi Benatia). Erik Lamela did get one back.

Juventus are expected to field a strong starting XI – I expect Poch will realise this and do something similar.

Possible starting XI?

Spurs: Lloris; Vertonghen, Dier, Alderweireld; Trippier, Winks, Dembele, Davies; Dele, Eriksen; Kane

Juve: Buffon; De Sciglio, Chiellini, Rugani, Sandro; Khedira, Pjanic; Costa, Dybala, Bernardeschi; Higuain

I’m not saying Spurs don’t do this, however Juventus certainly know how to sell themselves.

Score prediction

My heart says we’ll win but my head says something completely different.

Here goes…not that it matters, it’s only a pre-season friendly.

Spurs 0-2 Juventus
