The game is over and fourth spot is lost.
It was always going to happen, written in the stars if you will. The last game at Highbury, they were always going to win and what better way than stealing Spurs fourth spot and the Champions League place at the same time?
Now I wonder how many of us Spurs fans will use the fact that we had seven players who were ill as the excuse? I would like to think that it would be none of us but I know that will not be the case. Truth is we lost it ourselves by not beating the smaller teams when Arsenal were playing badly.
What can I say, right now it feels like the world is over and I have the feeling in the pit of my guts that just keeps turning over and over! BUT in a weeks time I will be missing watching Spurs play and I will be out of my mind waiting for the next season to start. So thank God for the World Cup!
I guess when we sit back and think about it, it has been a GREAT season and fifth is really good. In-fact it is F**ing great and the only reason it hurts right now is because we lost it on the last match and to Arsenal.
Lets be honest, if we were ten points behind Arsenal coming into the game we wouldn’t really care about the loss and would just be thinking positively about Europe.
Seeya next year boys and lets win a cup or two?!
