Spurs Take A Trip To Portugal For An Utterly Ridiculous Kick Off Time – Match Thread

|

With a good win over West Ham United in the midweek EFL Cup clash, Tottenham Hotspur now prepare to travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers for our latest Premier League clash.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have impressed many with their style of football, and they sit in tenth place in the Premier League table having attained promotion as Championship title winners last season. Aided by agent Jorge Mendes their signings have been impressive, but there biggest flaw appears to be goalscoring so it’s the kind of clash where maybe manager Mauricio Pochettino might be inclined to tinker with defence again to boost the game time of some in the squad.

Given the midweek changes though, I think we can expect Poch to revert back to the more tried and tested league squad he normally leads with.

Given the performances of some on Wednesday evening, he might have been asked a question or two about places on the bench though…we’ll have to see.

I actually find this one difficult to call, as they are no slouches, so it could be an interesting one but we shouldn’t underestimate them and I’m sure we won’t.
