Another Sunday and another Premier League fixture for Tottenham Hotspur and although our form has slightly turned following the arrival of Jose Mourinho in the dugout, the issues and problems within the squad – especially on a defensive front – are there for all to see.
Making the trip to Molineux to face Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers side was never going to be easy as they are again enjoying a good season themselves and clearly have an eye on the European places this season, but it wasn’t a classic.
Having opened the scoring through Lucas Moura eight minutes in, the hosts were mildly edging possession and they had way more chances overall, but in terms of testing goalkeepers, it was pretty level.
Adama Traore had them back on level terms just after the hour mark, but a Jan Vertonghen stoppage time effort gave us all three points in a 2-1 win, so it was just enough.
