With plenty to be unhappy about as Tottenham Hotspur went into the October international break, earlier today we were looking to get back on track in the Premier League as we welcomed Watford to White Hart Lane.
Spurs were again largely poor and six minutes in we found ourselves 1-0 down. At that stage of the game, it really looked like it would be another of those days, but few would’ve seen what was ultimately coming.
Inside of the final ten minutes of the tie Dele Alli got us back on level terms as he found the net in the 86th minute and given the overall performance and the fact we barely tested Ben Foster between the sticks, it was a massive get out of jail card but it draws a line under the Brighton and Hove Albion game – just not in the manner anyone hoped.
