Spurs Set To Make Third Transfer Raid On Ligue One Giants

|

We are one of three teams interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain left back Layvin Kurzawa, according to the Mirror journalist Darren Lewis.

However, it looks like we could be joined in the pursuit of the 25 year old by both Chelsea and Manchester United, who are also looking to recruit new full backs in the summer.

The French international has been sharing left back duties with Yuri Berchiche this season, and his future may depend on the successor of PSG manager Unai Emery.

Former Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel is expected to takeover from the Spaniard in the summer, and may have his own transfer plans which could determine whether Kurzawa stays or goes.

Mauricio Pochettino has already taken Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura from the Ligue One side in the last year, and the good relationship between our club and the French giants could prove pivotal in negotiations.

Any move for another left back is dependent on what happens with Danny Rose. The England international is currently out with a calf problem, and has struggled for fitness since recovering from a long term knee injury.
