Spurs Set For Two Deadline Day Departures With Talks Ongoing

|

Speculation about the futures of Tottenham Hotspur duo Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Vincent Janssen certainly aren’t new in the month of January.

With rumours building about potential departures this week with tonight’s deadline window looming, Sky Sports have reported this morning that Janssen could be set for a spell in the Bundesliga as talks are apparently ongoing between Spurs and Schalke over a loan deal for the remainder of the season.

Burnley and Real Betis had been heavily linked this week, but the rumour mill is cooling in their directions and although it’s still being claimed we are holding to a valuation of £15million for a permanent deal, suggestions of whether this would be a loan to buy arrangement are pretty scarce at least at this stage.

Nkoudou is also apparently undergoing a medical as talks continue with Monaco according to Sky. Again the suggestions are a loan deal but no permanent clause is being spoken of just yet.

Could be a busy night as purely from a numbers perspective, you would assume we could get some deal over the line on an incoming front, even if Pochettino didn’t seem that confident of it last night.
