    Good result
Didn’t see the game could find anywhere to watch it, but it seems, a dominant enough display.
Two goals, with no shots on target from them.
    Better still Arse lose.
Workman like and dominant, as, I said before, 17 shots 7 attempts on target a decent penalty shout, that’s Poch stats.
I take that for the rest of the season.
    COYS.

Good result. 3 points from an away fixture, even better. Happily clapping here. Bring on the bubblers.

Really dull game from two mediocre teams….one with s striker, the other without. Brighton try hard but have no fire power. We are workmanlike and have Harry Kane.
One man can make a difference.

      • Arky says:

wentworth, stop being such a sourpuss man.

Regarding, “One man can make a difference”, you referring to Christiano Ronaldo on last Sunday ?

        • Arky says:

wentworth, weren’t you banging on how good Lamptey, Cucurella, Bisouma and Graham Potter are. Now they are mediocre ? Some consistency man.

        • wentworth says:

No Harry Kane is our team. Lamptey, Cucurella and Bissouma would complete our team. They are better than we have. Sadly they have no strikers or goalscorers to pass to.
We have that one golden nugget HK until the summer.

  • Love totty says:

Yep, not the time for style and flair, just 3 points in the bag. 4th still a long shot, but you never know with what looks like a decent run in of fixtures. Will 70 points be enough? Well done to Harry for another record. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

    Plenty of positives
    We controlled the match
Passing was much improved and slicker However still a small number of silly mistakes
Brighton played pretty patterns but were snuffed out in our penalty area
Generally a much improved performance building on the united experience
Agreed we have some poor players but Conte is gradually making us into a reasonable team even with the poor players we have
However expect us to lose at the weekend
    But letโ€™s stay positive

All I’ve seen is the highlights on the Spurs website, but even they show we could and should have scored more. A win is always welcome but at this stage I’m not sure it makes much difference, we’ve just thrown too many points away already. My main concern now is where we go from here. There’s no guarantee Conte will be there next season. If he does go I hope there won’t be the same pretence that there are loads of managers just as good eager to work for us that there was with Mourinho. There will be no champions league football to generate funds and attract quality players, just the strength sapping Europa with our fans bleating about how its an honour to take part. Add to that I’m getting seriously worried about Skipp who looked our brightest prospect at the start of the season. So I’ve already written off this season and started worrying about what’s to come next time.

Any win is a good 3 points and we need all we can get….. Yes there was chances missed but we scored 2 goals and a clean sheet. There was some sloppy passing and no last balls to give goals (reggie to sonny) and conte will work on this. Also the number of yellow cards for romero very close to 10 and a 3 match ban after 32 games, is very concerning

We will need to win at least 22 points more to get 4th place, so looks like 5th or 6th place but I hope we do better ! COYS

block 108 spurs – I hadn’t realised Romero had picked up so many yellows so quickly. You are right, its worrying for someone who is supposed to be an exceptionally skilful defender. In my book a defender who can’t tackle correctly isn’t really that skilful. The irony is it was supposed to be Bentacur who was going to get booked a lot, not Romero.

  • Arky says:

Note the notable absence of the other two sourpusses, I guess 3 points do keep them away. Lol

  • PompeyYid says:

I watched the whole game on Sky, 11pm, Game of day, did not know the score.

Enjoyed it, simple things eh! easily pleased according to the doomsday merchants lot on here lol!

Could and should have been at the least 5 or 6.

1st half slow but controlled, 2nd half upped the tempo, controlled the game, did me, never looked like losing.

Kulu n Harry both missed sitters, add Reggie’s non pass to Son, also another chance by him not taken, add a pen not given. good shout for foul on Harry.

Romero n Bentacur, both very good games. Bents Mom for me.

Baby steps, slowly but surely, need some more additions of Bents n Kulu’s standard, but getting there.

The summer signings are very important.

Next! bring on the Wet Spam.

If we win both our nest 2 games, it will be the Cockerel amongst the pigeons. COYS

I’d like to see the WLWLWLWLWL pattern broken with a string of outstanding Ws, if you please.
