Spurs Man Posts Update After Nasty Looking Palace Injury

|

With Kieran Trippier going off injured for Tottenham Hotspur in the match against Crystal Palace last weekend, another injury worry for Spurs came in the knock that Argentine international Erik Lamela took.

Attempting to block a shot from Jeffrey Schlupp, both players collided and Schlupp, unfortunately, caught him in the head with his boot leading Lamela to be replaced by Harry Winks with just over five minutes remaining in the tie.

With plenty of blood on show from the clash there was some concern about the 26-year-old but seeking to allay any fears within the fanbase he took to social media after the full-time whistle to give an update.

Foyth certainly looks the happier of the two in the photo but that’s understandable, and Lamela will have a few war wounds for a few days but it’s probably not as bad as many thought. Whether it gets in the way of the international break for him remains to be seen.
