In Saturday’s late evening kickoff, Tottenham Hotspur took a semi-comfortable 2-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Goals from Son Heung-Min and Dele Alli gave us another victory in the Premier League campaign of 2018/19 and with an added bonus being that manager Mauricio Pochettino had the opportunity to better rest Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen, hopes are slightly boosted of a positive result at the Nou Camp against Barcelona next midweek.
In terms of the weekend action though, Alli’s strike made it 50 goals across all competitions for him following his arrival from MK Dons. It was 40 in the Premier League itself, and he also boasts four in the FA Cup, three in the League Cup and three in Europe.
Having come in for some criticism recently from the more ‘vocal’ shall we say on social media, this is a milestone worthy of celebration for the 22-year-old.

@dele_official became the third player to score 50+ goals for @SpursOfficial in all competitions since 2015-16 tonight, alongside Heung-Min Son and @HKane. No other @premierleague club has more than two players who have done so in this time. pic.twitter.com/oKojzdN1oS
