Only a few days to go now before Tottenham Hotspur will look to make history as we face Liverpool in the Champions League Final out in Madrid, but it hasn’t stopped the summer transfer rumour mill from plodding on and instead of being linked with Ajax attackers, we are now being linked with one of their supposed targets – PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn.
Voetball International via Football Oranje have claimed this week that we are interested in 21-year-old International Bergwijn.
They claim that PSV are ‘expecting’ Spurs to make an offer for him but that they won’t sell the talent on the cheap. In total, he has 120 appearances for the club, scoring 25 goals and providing 28 assists, but the price tag is the expected Euro 45-50million mark which seems par for the course for everyone at the moment.
PSV expect Tottenham Hotspur to make a formal offer for Steven Bergwijn soon. Ajax are also interested in signing the 21-year-old winger this summer.

Ajax were the favoured destination for a while it seems before Spurs got tagged into the story a couple of months back, but price aside, compared to some of the speculation we’ve seen this sounds far more like a Mauricio Pochettino signing than some of the others.
