Spurs Joined By Premier League Rival In Pursuit Of £35m Rated Ligue One Star

|

Manchester United will join us in pursuing Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to Le10 Sport.

Reports in France had reported we had already started negotiations over signing the 21-year-old, but Sky Sports countered those claims as being premature.

Ndombele is believed to be one possible midfield target the club are looking at, along with Lille’s Yves Bissouma and Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure.

He is actually still on loan at Lyon from Amiens, but the Ligue One side have already taken up their option to buy the player as of July 1st.

L’Equipe previously said that we would make an offer of around €40m (£35m) for Ndombele, but so far it seems we are holding back from making a formal bid.

The future of Mousa Dembele is likely to play a role in our attempts to sign the midfielder. In recent days, the Belgian has hinted a move abroad does interest him, but he remained coy about whether he’d be leaving the club.
