Spurs Finally Get Deal For 23 y/o Over The Line – Now We Wait For The Next Confirmation

|

After a long wait, and despite the transfer deadline window slamming shut at 5pm, Tottenham Hotspur have now finally confirmed the arrival of Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

The 23-year-old was known to be at the club for a medical today and whatever the delay in the announcement was, the paperwork went through in time and the Official Site confirmed his capture a short time ago.

We have handed him the No 18 shirt for the coming 2019/20 Premier League campaign and he arrives initially on a loan deal, but with a permanent buy clause for next summer, reported to be the previously stated £55million which could potentially rise to £60million with add-ons.

With 19 Argentine caps to his name, he should fit right in at the club under manager Mauricio Pochettino and now we all sit patiently waiting for the reports claiming we’ve signed Ryan Sessegnon to be officially confirmed as well.

After such a long wait the reaction on the above Tweet was a little bit mixed, but plenty are looking forward to seeing what he can do.
