Spurs Dealt Setback In Potential Summer Move For United Misfit

The club have been talked about as a potential destination for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial in recent weeks.

However, Tuttosport (via TeamTalk) in Italy believe Jose Mourinho is not willing to let the 22-year-old leave for another Premier League club.

The Portuguese manager has reportedly told the striker and his agent that he will only sanction a move abroad if he wants to leave Old Trafford in the summer.

It is said to the United boss is not keen to see another player come back to haunt him like Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne or Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

Martial has been in and out of the United first team this campaign. Despite scoring 11 goals and providing nine assists in all competitions, the France international has started just 26 times and made 18 substitute appearances.
