Now the anger has subsided, who believes in ‘Voodoo Magic’ because we certainly seemed to be cursed at the moment? What else can explain the frequency we seem to be spurning our chances?

Set piece floated in, straight on to King’s head – instead of scoring from 6 yards out, he shuts his eyes (?) and doesn’t even make any contact. MJ was on burn up.
David’s gives Jenas, his Christmas and Birthday present all rolled into one with an open goal at his mercy but true to Spurs season so far, puts it wide when it’s easier to score.
Other end split seconds later, Liverpool has an identical opportunity but with a different end product. Like Jenas, Bellamy fails to score with a golden chance but, we’re not so fortunate, with Gonzalez tucking in the rebound.
David’s went from hero to zero, constantly turning over possession enabling Liverpool to take further initiative breaking the Spurs back bone in the process – the character of last season, which could have seem us take a point, has vanished and the boys are certainly at rock bottom and struggling for form. Highlighted and proven with Kuyt and Riise final sucker punches, like a boxer already on the ropes.
In Jol we trust though to pick the lads up and brush them down. Because how much longer can this curse go on? Are we really playing as bad as our results are suggesting? Is 3 points finally waiting around the corner against Portsmouth?
