Spurs Confirm Mourinho’s “Bad News” – No Return Date Given

|

With Tottenham Hotspur and England striker Harry Kane going off as a substitute late on in the game against Southampton in our midweek Premier League defeat, plenty feared the worst when it came to injury.

With manager Jose Mourinho saying after the game that he expected ‘bad news’ when it came to our top scorer, earlier today the club confirmed that he had suffered a hamstring injury but no timeframe was given for a potential return date which has led to plenty of speculation about how serious the ‘tear’ in his left leg could be.

Fans will have to simply hope for the best and keep their fingers crossed that it isn’t as bad as it sounds, and many will hope that Kane’s own slightly upbeat message on social media implies that he’ll be back sooner rather than later.

The reaction from fans was pretty obvious to both Tweets and with Son Heung-Min returning to contention for the next one, it’ll be all eyes to him on the goalscoring front.
