Spurs Arrange Medical For 33 Capped International Midfielder

|

Following on from all the speculation linking Tottenham Hotspur with a move for Southampton and Danish international midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, it was reported last week that both clubs (including Everton) had now agreed on a deal that was reportedly said to be in the region of £15million – with obvious additional clauses.

The 25-year-old has apparently chosen White Hart Lane as his next destination and according to the BBC he is now set for a medical later today ahead of penning his new terms.

As part of the deal it will also see 23-year-old Academy graduate Kyle Walker-Peters head out in the opposite direction following his pretty successful loan spell out with them in the second half of the 2019/20 campaign. According to the report, it’s effectively a swap deal but we will pay £3million for Hojbjerg on that front.

Is Hojbjerg A Good Addition?

Yes

No

I can’t imagine there will be any problems with his medical so we should expect this one to be quickly announced this week and we can welcome him as our first signing of the summer.

    IS HOJBJERG A GOOD ADDITION?

I thought Ndombele was a good addition. But until we see the back side of JM on his was to pergatory, no addition will really be a good addition. We need addition by subtraction. José fora! vai embora
