Spurs Among Eight Teams Tracking £26.4m Rated Serie A Hotshot

The Italians love a transfer rumour and the latest player they report “half of Europe” are after is Fiorentina’s Giovanni Simeone.

The son of Atletico Madrid manager Diego, the striker moved to Florence from Genoa in the summer and has racked up 13 goals and four assists in all competitions so far this season.

Tuttosport (via TMW) are reporting his performances have caught the eye of our scouts, but we would have a lot of competition to sign the 22-year-old.

Five Serie A teams: Juventus, Napoli, Inter Milan, Roma and Lazio are all reportedly after the Argentinian, as well as La Liga side Sevilla, and French club Lyon.

The former Argentina Under 20 international is said to be rated at €30m (£26.4m), which is a pretty high asking price considering his lack of goals at senior level.

He is beginning to show signs of consistency, having score 14 for Genoa last season, and he could be seen as one for the future by Mauricio Pochettino.
