Spurs Man Continues To Struggle Despite Loan Switch & New Surroundings

|

Late on in the January transfer window Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou did complete the expected loan move away from the club as he made a temporary switch to French Ligue 1 side Monaco.

The now 24-year-old hasn’t had the best of times at White Hart Lane since his reported £11million arrival from Marseille back in August 2016 and he only has four starts to his name, with a further 22 substitute showings. With one goal scored in those games, he almost got a second wind under manager Mauricio Pochettino as injuries hit and he made two appearances in January for us, grabbing an assist in the clash with Fulham but after not really impressing against Palace, he headed out the door.

With hopes that the spell would be a success, if only from a financial point of view of his future value, with Thierry Henry’s struggles and eventual sacking, he’s only made three substitute appearances for them, racking up a total of roughly 20 minutes.

Unless there’s a massive turn in his form and game time he’ll definitely be returning in the summer and given his struggles, we may struggle to find another suitor.
