Some Fans Call For Sense As Pundits Express Concern Over Striker

|

You would’ve thought Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane had started the season poorly given the thoughts of pundits Stuart Pearce and Tony Adams as they both expressed ‘concern’ at his form earlier this week.

The 25-year-old striker won the Golden Boot over the summer given his exploits with England at the Russian World Cup as he finished as top scorer, and August saw him make his most successful start to a season as a senior player as he found the net twice in four matches for us – notwithstanding the fact that he broke his August duck by finding the back of the net, to begin with.

Okay, he had a poor individual performance in the defeat to Watford last weekend, but who didn’t, and given he’s been flat out for the past few years and rarely misses a match unless he’s absolutely forced to, the criticism feels a bit cheap really and in fairness in Pearce’s full quotes there are some comments I agree with in terms of getting him some help.

As the above Tweets show, it wasn’t just Spurs fans who had objections which is good to see.
