Tottenham fans haven’t needed tp hear anything from Japhet Tanganga to love their young defender, but the 20-year-old has come out and spoken on the club’s website about their chance of top four this season, and the youngster’s mentality is as strong as his defensive ability.
“Four points is not too much to climb. There are loads of games to go and we’ll keep fighting until the end.”

After making his debut during the 1-0 home loss to Liverpool, Tanganga has been a consistent fixture in the senior team and the fans absolutely love him. The academy man is doing a great job despite having not nailed down one role and having been used all across the backline.
Against Chelsea on the weekend, Tanganga was used as a right wing-back and it was fairly clear that he was given no instructions to go forward and try and make a difference in the final third, although he did almost get the Lilywhites back into the game with what would have been a freakish goal. Whatever happens, though, it seems Tanganga has faith in a top-four finish.
Will Tottenham qualify for next season's Champions League?

You’re right, 4 points isn’t a lot. Being awful & dominated by every team we play though is what the problem is.

The Baggies have loads of time for Tanganga and will just hope he’s right about top four.
