“Simply wasn’t good enough” – Many Spurs fans slam 22 y/o who is “Championship at best”

Many Tottenham Hotspur fans were furious with defender Kyle Walker-Peters after recent comments he made about his time under Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho.

Speaking on Southampton’s official website, Walker-Peters claimed that he would still be at Tottenham if Pochettino was still in charge, despite only appearing four times under him. He added that Mourinho did not give him the opportunity and thought that he should have got some game time under his belt.

The 22-year-old made his debut for Tottenham under the former Spurs manager and has since racked up 24 appearances for the Lilywhites. This season, he has only managed five outings and has been loaned out to the Saints until the end of the season.
