According to an update courtesy of journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur hierarchy and Daniel Levy by extension are interested in signing AS Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo this season – prompting the Serie A club to consider offering him a new and improved deal.

Zaniolo, who impressed for the Italian giants before succumbing to injury, recently returned to action after a four-month lay-off and is now at the centre of Tottenham’s interest as we look to strengthen for Jose Mourinho’s first full season in charge at the club.

Should Levy break the bank for Zaniolo?

Absolutely, yes please!

Absolutely, yes please!

No way, need defenders!

No way, need defenders!

We are understood to be ‘tracking‘ the 21-year-old prodigy but may face a difficult time in trying to secure his signature, especially given Roma’s alleged stance that they do not want to sell him.

Indeed, Zaniolo is apparently ‘key‘ to their project at the Stadio Olimpico – but that hasn’t stopped many Lilywhites from discussing the promising player on social media.
