|

Napoli are interested in signing Mousa Dembele, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com).

The Italian newspaper reports the Partenopei’s new head coach Carlo Ancelotti was dining with super agent Kia Joorabchian in London when he mentioned he was targeting the Belgian international.

The 30-year-old is also attracting interest from another Italian club with the Corriere Dello Sport (via Calciomercato) stating that Inter Milan have put the midfielder on a list of targets.

Dembele’s agent Tom de Mul spoke about his client’s future last week. It seems that things will likely be resolved after the World Cup, with no new deal having been agreed to stay with us.

The Belgian’s current contract expires in 2019, and reports in numerous newspapers have suggested we will look to offload him in the summer.

Last campaign, Dembele played 39 times in all competitions but it seems the club are willing to trade him in for a younger model.
