Saturday Finally Arrives For Spurs Fans – It’s Going To Be A Long Day

So the day is finally here. It’s felt like a long few weeks with only speculative transfer rumours to deal with when only one thing mattered, but Tottenham Hotspur finally take to the pitch against Liverpool later this evening in the Champions League Final out in Madrid.

Thousands on both colour charts have travelled, some maybe more in hope of finding a ticket than expectation, but Madrid is going to be an interesting bubble as today draws on. We can only hope real football wins out and not any idiots with one shandy too many taking the headlines.

It’s a day where Spurs have created history regardless of what the score stands at when the referee blows the final whistle and that’s what needs to be remembered and take the headlines, as I can’t be alone in being proud of manager Mauricio Pochettino and the lads for simply getting there in the first place.

It looked so unlikely at so many points, so I’m just going to enjoy it.
