Rumoured Spurs Target Gives Loan Hope As He Comments On His Future

|

With the endless speculation on the rumour mill linking Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen with a switch to Real Madrid this summer, one tangent that came from all the talk was the possibility of Dani Ceballos coming in the other direction.

Spurs “Demand” Could Scupper Eriksen’s Dream Move

With plenty of reports linking us with a move for the 22-year-old fans seem largely excited by the prospect but there are those not so keen on the suggestions given what they’ve seen from the player.

With one strand to the speculation that it would simply be a loan move and not a permanent deal and contradictory reports on whether or not Zinedine Zidane has or hasn’t transfer listed the player, he’s now spoken himself about the speculation and it doesn’t sound like he’s in a hurry to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, but if he does, it won’t be on a permanent basis.

Outlet Onda Cero have him quoted as saying.

“I don’t want to be sold. I want to enjoy myself and feel important, wherever that may be. I have a bit of experience and I believe that next year will be my best year. I play to have fun. I really want to show what I’m good at. This year hasn’t been my best season. I wanted to get things off my chest.”

With him signing a six year deal back in 2017, in many ways you wouldn’t expect him to say anything else really, but surely we’d only be interested if a permanent deal was on the cards.

Given the contradictory reports so far, it should be noted that the Daily Star are now suggesting that Real Madrid have informed us £30million is the magic number for a permanent deal – but they want a buy back clause.
