Midfielder Mousa Dembele reached his six-year milestone with Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday and whilst it hasn’t always been plain sailing at the club, our development over that period of time means there are more positive memories than negative ones, and Dembele has certainly played his part in that.
Having arrived from Fulham for a reported £15million back at the end of August 2012, he now boasts well over 200 appearances for the club and has returned ten goals across all competitions.
That period has obviously seen Spurs move from outside the accepted top four, into clear top four challengers and we continue to have high hopes for the 2018/19 campaign.
31-year-old Dembele continues to be subject to speculation about his future with a number of clubs speculated to be interested in him according to the rumour mill, but regardless of what happens before this summers’ deadline closes completely, the regard fans hold him in is unquestionable.
Beast!

So happy you’ve stayed this summer. Deserve to lift at least one trophy before leaving the club. Here’s hoping this will be the best year you’ve had at Spurs! ????????

It's an honour having you wearing the Spurs shirt, Mousa. One of the most original, inventive footballers I have ever seen. Thank you. #BowingTheKneeToDembélé
