“Ridiculous Decision” “Disgraceful” – These Spurs Fans Aren’t Happy With Club Confirmation

|

With plenty of speculation linking Tottenham Hotspur and England fullback Danny Rose with a move away from White Hart Lane this summer, it now seems that the speculation was based on at least a few facts.

On Wednesday morning, the Official Site confirmed the squad that would be travelling for our pre-season International Champions Cup matches in Singapore and Shanghai and with manager Mauricio Pochettino selecting a mixed group when it came to experience and then youth, there were a couple of omissions that caught people’s attentions.

One was 29-year-old Rose and the following statement stood out.

“Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Danny Rose have been granted additional time off in order to explore prospective opportunities with other clubs.”

Jansson and Nkoudou certainly weren’t a surprise there, but plenty weren’t happy with the confirmation about Rose as he continues to have plenty of supporters at the club and they have long been against seeing him move on this summer.

With Kieran Trippier reportedly close to a move to Atletico Madrid for a claimed £25million, a similar fee has been bandied around about Rose, and a few thought that was too low as well.

If Poch is happy to let him go, he must be confident in his replacement.
