Report Reveals Plan For Tottenham’s Summer Signing, Fans Will Think It’s About Time

|

Tottenham Hotspur fans have had to wait patiently to see summer deadline day capture, Ryan Sessegnon, take to the pitch for us as following his £25million switch from Fulham, he’s found himself sidelined with a hamstring problem.

The 19-year-old talent has been progressing though and he’s training with manager Mauricio Pochettino’s first team squad this week as he builds up his fitness and sharpness, and the Daily Mail have now claimed that Poch has decided to bed him in slowly now and has him pencilled in for Under 23 duty for two games, before considering whether or not to involve him with his group.

Wayne Burnett’s lads face Leicester City on Friday, but it’s believed that match may come too soon for Sessegnon, so fans should probably look out for his progress in the clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers on the 26th and then Arsenal as we tick into November.

Given the length of time he’s now been out, it certainly makes sense to me. Maybe the 45 minutes for the first clash, and then the full 90 in the second and he should be better ready for a spot on the bench – especially if he impresses and hits the ground running.
