Report: Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain interested in £60k-per-week man

|

According to Pete O’Route of the Football Insider, Juventus are interested in Danny Rose. Sky Sports say the Italian giants may have to battle Paris Saint-Germain and Schalke 04 for his signature. The 29-year-old is expected to leave Tottenham this summer after being omitted from their pre-season tour in Singapore, but clubs will have to pay £20m to procure his signature.

Rose has admitted publicly that he could be on his way out, and the £60k-per-week left-back has been given permission by Tottenham to talk with other clubs about a move. Tottenham are considering a move for Ryan Sessegnon to be Rose’s replacement, but Mauricio Pochettino appears to have chosen Ben Davies to be Spurs’ left-back next season.

The Welsh international signed a long-term deal at Tottenham and is a dependable player to call upon. Davies made 40 appearances in all competitions last season and will provide continuity in defence after Rose leaves. Sessegnon would be too much of a gamble due to his inexperience in the top-flight and his young age.

Tottenham will now be awaiting bids from Juventus, PSG and Schalke this summer while Rose weighs up which club is best for him to meet his objectives.
