Report: Fullback could leave Tottenham, potential asking price & salary demands revealed

According to France Football (h/t Sport Witness), Serge Aurier could be on his way out of Tottenham this summer after failing to impress at right-back. The 26-year-old has fallen out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino and finds himself behind the likes of Kieran Trippier in the pecking order. Kyle Walker-Peters could be a secondary option in defence too.

Aurier has made 41 appearances in all competitions from Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 but finds his future uncertain at the club as he’s been on the periphery this season. The Ivorian international has made only 17 appearances in all competitions in 2018/19, racking up less than 600 minutes of Premier League football for Spurs.

The Londoners paid £23m to procure Aurier’s signature and agreed a five-year deal worth £3.6m-a-year/£70k-per-week. As the defender has three years left on his contract, Tottenham will surely want most of that transfer fee back this summer. Whether they can find a suitor remains to be seen, however, as France Football don’t know which clubs are keen on Aurier.

Nevertheless, his days at Tottenham appear to be numbered and might be one of the first victims of a summer clear out.
