Report Claims Tottenham’s First Signing In 18 Months Won’t Be Seen For Another 12

|

With a huge expectation that Tottenham Hotspur will announce their first capture in two transfer windows with the arrival of Leeds United starlet Jack Clarke early this week, it’s now been claimed that rather than his current club having first refusal on a loan – the deal includes an automatic return to Elland Road for the 2019/20 campaign.

With talk of a deal being worth £15million all in when it comes to the additional clauses, I think fans should be excited about his capture as one for the future, as he is a talent from the little I saw of him last year but naturally he’ll need time to adjust and develop further and he’s got a cracking teacher in the shape of manager Mauricio Pochettino.

If we will kick our aspirations up next year in the way Poch has spoken about, it’s too much pressure on Clarke initially so the loan spell back makes perfect sense so he can round his game off more and significantly increase his starting appearances, so the claim from respected journalist Phil Hay is almost a no brainer for me.

It’s a big fee for an 18-year-old all in with his actual game time, so I certainly wouldn’t doubt this.
