Report Claims Spurs Up Offer To 68m For Long Claimed Pochettino Target

|

Over the weekend Tottenham Hotspur saw themselves linked with a move for Dinamo Zagreb young talent Dani Olmo, but the report also gave an update on our long speculated chase for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

The Olmo capture given his age, rumoured price and goalscoring return from the middle of the park for the Croatian side, both in domestic and European action certainly attracted me to the speculation as from a stats point of view he’s a quintessential Mauricio Pochettino type of project.

With ongoing Lo Celso rumours amidst claims we have stalled the deal and that Poch has spoken to the player to assure him a deal will be done in time, the report concerning Olso also claimed that we’d upped our bid to 68million Euros – which although still shy of their apparent 75million Euro demand would suggest our long rumoured chase of him could soon come to an end.
